Athena, the Blue and Gold Macaw

Athena is now fully sponsored by a very special family who wish to remain anonymous. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Athena, the Blue and Gold Macaw came to the sanctuary 7 years ago. Her caregiver was going through a very traumatic time in life and felt that she could not provide Athena with the time and love that she deserved. She is a very sweet macaw.
