This special guy is now fully sponsored, thanks to the generosity of Andrew Elliott. Thank you, Andrew! Thanks for his new name!
My Name is Elliott!
Elliott was caught in the wild and survived the horrific trip from Seram to Canada. His reward was to be put into a breeding situation with a female he did not even know. After decades of unhappiness he was brought here, terrified and very sick. He suffered further for several weeks while we treated him with medications to help him regain his health and strength.
He now has freedom and lots of friends of his own choosing.

Hi Jane,
Either ‘elliott’ or ‘andy’ would be very cool for a name! don’t you think? LOL!
(honestly, I can’t stand it when people call me ‘andy’, but my girlfriend Erika said it would be a great name for a Cockatoo!)
ciao
Isn’t That Chucky? It looks like it’s him.
Hello, I went to your parrot refuge last Sunday, I loved it! I would love to give a name to Elliot and I am coming back soon with more friends. Here are my names: Green Cocky, or Little Footprints, or Pretty Feet.
Ps. Say Hi to all the Parrots for me, Bye. Adi.
Hi Adi – those are all great names! Elliott is this birdie’s new name, but if we are looking for new names, we’ll certainly remember the names that you have sent. Thank you for visiting. I know the parrots will look forward to seeing you and your friends again soon! Bye bye for now!
You have a parrot called Elliott. It is all white with orange feathers on back of its head. Could you tell me what kind of a parrot it is? My friend has a bird just like it and I am doing research on that type of bird. Thankyou.
