We have a need for the following items, and would be most grateful for donations of items that people no longer use and could gift to our parrot family:
- A refrigerated container, say 8 foot x 20 foot, to use as a walk-in cooler. Fridges are so difficult to use with the large boxes of fruits and veggies we buy for our parrot friends. We could also keep the nuts and seeds in there. It does not have to be beautiful – just functional.
- We need an oxygen concentrator. Lots of elderly people have them at home to make oxygen, and they are much safer than having an oxygen tank around. When they are no longer needed, we would be thrilled to accept them, and provide a tax receipt.
- Heating pads, both small and large sizes.
- Sheets, towels, and pillowcases.
- House plants that need a new home.
- Garden plants and pond plants that need a new home.
- Portable Display – we often participate in local community and school events. We would really appreciate having some type of portable display booth stands/bulletin boards commonly used at trade shows, etc…
