Some Goffin’s Cockatoos check out the festive new benches outside.

These benches are along the path leading up to the Refuge. They were recently repaired (as needed) and painted a beautiful bright red by Glenn and Angela M.  These are the volunteers that built the cockatiel flight and the small parrot flight.

Many thanks, Glenn and Angela!

  1. I was at the refuge this past Friday to see my Chippy and Yoshi b Bear…..it was so heartwarming to see and play with them…the place is looking wonderful with more trees, branches. My Chippy was high atop one of them and came running down when he saw me…..and Yoshi Bear came right to me….first time for her….she didn’t like females and now that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore….YAY!!….and Trevor told me Chippy had flown. They have been there 8 months now…and they are birds acting like birds. Thank you so much World Parrot Refuge!!!!!!
